Sir Paul McCartney 'To Tour For The Last Time'

Sir Paul McCartney will begin his final world tour later this year, according to reports.

The Former Beatle is understood to be planning upwards of 100 shows that will take place over the next two years.

Speaking to the Mirror newspaper, an unnamed source describes the tour as McCartney’s “last big one”.

"He wants to settle down and enjoy (daughter) Beatrice's childhood. The tour will be the last time he performs in many parts of the world,” they said.

“Beatrice and his family life are going to come first. He does not want to be away for months at a time."

McCartney’s last live performance came in Liverpool at the beginning of June. The concert was part of the city’s reign as the 2008 capital of European culture.
